Partners
Three partners

Elizabeth Ludwig
Partner, Strategy and Transformation
An operator, not an analyst. She gets into the system and fixes it instead of narrating why it is broken.
Read bio of Elizabeth Ludwig
Elizabeth helps founders and small to mid-market companies close the gap between what AI can produce and the human judgment that turns it into something worth doing.
Her path began two decades ago with her own computer consulting company, and she has sat at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology ever since. She built a new market vertical at a global engineering firm from the ground up, growing it from 15 to 250 people and moving it from fifteenth to sixth in national rankings. She brought that same operational instinct to global professional services, partnering with executive leadership on mergers, acquisitions, and growth, before moving into digital and AI product strategy at a global manufacturer. Most recently she designed and scaled an AI adoption and governance program inside a global software organization, taking it from a business case she wrote herself to executive sponsorship and full rollout across engineering, product, and design.
Her through-line is judgment under abundance. She authored the five-layer AI System Map, which lets leaders see where AI risk and value actually sit, and a framework for why AI investment routinely outruns an organization’s ability to use it. She holds an Executive MBA and a bachelor’s degree, and she lectures and gives talks on the business applications of AI.

Michael Ferreyros
Partner, AI Enablement and Design
He does not just design the strategy. He builds the system that makes it work.
Read bio of Michael Ferreyros
Michael works where strategy meets feasibility, making sure a plan is shaped from the start by what can actually be built and run. His signature is the internal intelligence layer: the knowledge bases and reporting systems that turn an organization’s scattered information into one thing people can decide from.
For more than fifteen years he has run translational research operations in academic medicine, managing a multi-million-dollar portfolio and a team of more than twenty in cell and gene therapy for rare diseases. He learned to set direction and deliver where the compliance bar is absolute and the stakes are patient outcomes. He holds an Executive MBA.
Because he builds these systems himself, his strategy stays grounded in what is genuinely shippable. He has designed the knowledge bases, dashboards, and internal applications that become an organization’s operating backbone, from automated procurement to organizational health reporting, and a competitive intelligence platform that benchmarked one research institute against all 120 cell and gene therapy centers in its field. He co-founded the student AI business club where MBAI started, and he still teaches this in weekly sessions and retreats.

Stacie Carruth
Partner, Operations and Partnerships
She makes starting simple and staying with it easy, from the first email to the last session.
Read bio of Stacie Carruth
Stacie leads operations, communications, and partnerships at MBAI, where she owns pricing, client materials, and the systems that keep an engagement moving without anyone having to chase it.
Her career began in clinical laboratory science and healthcare operations, where she built a foundation in accuracy, process, and working inside regulated environments. She moved into operations and communications roles across hospitality, nonprofit, and community organizations. She has redesigned order-tracking workflows to cut delays across departments, written the standard operating procedures that carried organizations through leadership transitions, and directed teams ranging from 30 to more than 100 volunteers delivering housing, education, and employment support. She has built outreach relationships with more than 200 organizations and helped secure program funding through grant writing and donor strategy, exceeding fundraising goals by 30 percent.
She is proficient in Portuguese and Spanish, a Certified Facilitator through the Arbinger Institute, and holds an Executive MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science.
Advisor
Who we take advice from

Jeremiah Contreras
Strategic Advisor
Technology initiatives rarely fail because the tool was wrong. They fail because the business problem was misunderstood.
Read bio of Jeremiah Contreras
Jeremiah advises MBAI on finance, talent, and the part of adoption that has nothing to do with software. His focus is human-centered technology adoption: helping leaders redesign work, strengthen decision-making, and implement AI and automation in ways people can understand, trust, and use.
His path began more than two decades ago in audit and analytics, where he specialized in computer-assisted audit techniques and trained professionals to use data for better decisions long before AI was a business imperative. He later served as Controller and Global Business Process Manager for an international professional services firm, leading process redesign, ERP implementation, change management, user training, and the translation of business needs into technical requirements.
His work brings together disciplines many technology consultants treat separately: audit, controls, finance, operations, systems implementation, risk, and human adoption. He is useful to us precisely because he will say when technology is not the answer.
